The IPC is easily adjusted by advancing the sliding lock using our special IPC tool; a Ligature Director may also be used to advance the lock. ** DO NOT ACTIVATE THE APPLIANCE PRIOR TO INSERTION **

It is important to remember that the sliding lock is unidirectional and cannot be reversed.

We use constant force Nickel Titanium Open Coil in all the appliances we fabricate; this allows you to have greater control of the tooth movement. We design the appliances with physical stops to control the amount of correction and eliminate the fear of over correction.

To reduce the force due to over-activation of the sliding lock grasp one end of the open coil NiTi spring with Jarabak pliers and gently pull it. As the coil unwinds to the desired length, cut the coil flush with the component.

Do not activate the appliance prior to insertion.
